In Memoriam: Bishop Hovakim Manukyan Attends Funeral of Bishop Andrew
Bishop Hovakim Manukyan participated in the funeral service of the late Bishop Andrew, held at Guildford Cathedral on Monday, 23 March.
He was joined by Mrs Irma Ozsivadjian, Chair of the Guildford Mission Parish, who attended to pay tribute and represent the Armenian community.
The service brought together clergy and faithful from across the region to honour the life and ministry of Bishop Andrew, whose pastoral care and ecumenical spirit were widely appreciated.
There has been a strong and fruitful relationship between the Diocese of Guildford and the Diocese of the Armenian Church in the United Kingdom and Ireland. Bishop Andrew was a valued friend of the Armenian Church, offering his support and presence at services and community events organised by the Armenian faithful.
His commitment to fostering cooperation and understanding between Churches will be remembered with gratitude.
