Armenians and Friends Gather for the 16th Armenian Summer Festival in London

The Armenian Summer Festival brought together large numbers of Armenians and their friends to celebrate Armenian faith, culture, and heritage. Bishop Hovakim Manukyan expressed his sincere gratitude to all those who attended, especially the many dedicated volunteers, performers, sponsors, benefactors, donors, parish councils, and supporters whose generosity, commitment, and tireless efforts made the event possible.

Bishop Hovakim noted that the festival is a beautiful witness to the unity of the Armenian community and to the enduring mission of the Armenian Church in the United Kingdom and Ireland.

More than twenty community organisations, charities, and businesses took part in the festival, while the dedicated volunteers of the Armenian Summer Festival Committee worked tirelessly to welcome guests and ensure the smooth running of every aspect of the event. Their generous service, together with the support of sponsors, benefactors, and donors, once again demonstrated the remarkable spirit of unity that continues to strengthen the Armenian community in the United Kingdom.

The proceeds of the Armenian Summer Festival will support the pastoral, educational, youth, charitable, ecumenical, and missionary ministries of the Diocese of the Armenian Church in the United Kingdom and Ireland, helping to preserve Armenian Christian faith and heritage while expanding the Church’s outreach across the country.

The Diocese expresses its heartfelt gratitude to every volunteer, performer, sponsor, benefactor, parish, and visitor whose generosity and dedication made the 16th Armenian Summer Festival another memorable success.
