Bishop Mike Royal, the General Secretary of Churches Together in England, gave an address at the morning service marking the 25th anniversary of St Yeghiche Church’s consecration.

Worshippers and guests gathered at St Yeghiche Church on Sunday, 11 October, for a Divine Liturgy and an evening concert of sacred music to celebrate the 25 years since its consecration.

The celebrations also marked the Feast of the Holy Translators, honouring the saints - including St Yeghiche, the patron saint of the celebrated church - whose work helped establish Armenia’s Christian literary tradition.

During the special Divine Liturgy, His Grace Bishop Hovakim Manukyan, Primate of the Diocese of the Armenian Church of the United Kingdom and Ireland, warmly invited Bishop Mike Royal, the General Secretary of Churches Together in England (CTE), to deliver an address to the gathered faithful on this beautiful occasion.
