Lenten Season Services
The English word "Lent" means "Springtime," referring to the period in which it occurs. The bloom of flora and fauna also coincides with the feast of Christ's Resurrection. The belief in the Resurrection is central to us as Christians, since we hope that Jesus Christ conquered death, which entered the world through the first sin. For this reason, we do not mark this celebration haphazardly, but first prepare ourselves for this solemnly.
This Great Lent, join us for solemn weekly services at London's St Sarkis Church, at Arajnortaran (Armenian Diocesan Centre), or online on Zoom.
