16 August - Special Episcopal Divine Liturgy at St Sarkis

On August 16, we celebrate the Feast of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary, Theotokos, Sourp Astvadzadzin. At the invitation of His Grace Bishop Hovakim Manukyan, His Grace Bishop Kirakos Davtyan, Primate of the Diocese of Georgia, will celebrate the Divine Liturgy at St Sarkis Armenian Church, Iverna Gardens, London, W8 6TP, at 11:00 a.m.

A graduate of the Gevorkian Theological Seminary of the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin, Bishop Kirakos has served the Armenian Church in Georgia, Australia and New Zealand, Russia and Armenia. He has served as Primate of the Armenian Diocese of Georgia since 2022 and was consecrated a bishop by His Holiness Karekin II, Catholicos of All Armenians, in 2023.
